Qualifications

In this role you will be looking after our multi-disciplined engineering execution teams and subcontractors across a wide portfolio of HVAC engineered solutions.

What you will do
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including in depth financials, scheduling, logistics, and site team coordination
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Johnson Controls project management activities related to your projects
  • Oversee procurement, warehousing, and subcontractor management
  • Coordinate material deliveries, manage site logistics, and oversee customs compliance for international shipments
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide technical oversight of HVAC system delivery and manage the integration within main contractor-led projects
  • Attend project meetings, monitor progress, and uphold compliance and quality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
  • Set performance expectations and development plans for direct and subcontract labour

What we are looking for

Essential
  • Proven end-to-end project management experience in the HVAC industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration into complex, multi-trade construction projects managed by main contractors, including oversight through the commissioning phase
  • Demonstrable experience working with chillers and a wide range of HVAC equipment across commercial or industrial projects
  • Financial oversight, procurement, and team leadership skills
  • Experience managing Health & Safety on active sites with multiple trades
  • Contract management and supervisory experience of both direct and subcontract labour
  • Experience overseeing logistics, including deliveries and customs clearance

Preferred
  • Project management certification (e.g. APM in progress)
  • IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS, or CSCS qualifications
  • Knowledge of PSSR and BS EN378
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project applications.
