Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks an Operations Projects Coordinator (Mechanical) at its Cameron, LA facility. The role leads safe, mechanical turnaround execution, coordinating with contractors, operations, maintenance planning, engineering and procurement to ensure flawless execution.

You will drive adherence to STO schedules, manage risk and support continuous improvement initiatives across projects and teams. A strong background in LNG facilities and turnaround processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3+) years’ work experience as Mechanical routine maintenance Execution Lead or Supervisor and three (3+) years as Mechanical Turnaround Coordinator in Oil and Gas, LNG or petrochemical facilities.
• Knowledge and experience in the different cycles of Turnaround and project controls and best practices.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledgeable in SAP Plant Maintenance as “End User” level.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinates Mechanical Turnaround work execution according to HSSE processes to prevent unsafe conditions or SIMOPS.
• Coordinate with VGIMS, Work Management and STO procedures.
• Meet STO Gate process deliverables within area of responsibility.
• Assist with daily schedule changes and stakeholder meetings.
• Facilitate turnaround scope of work workshops and ensure works captured in SAP, STO Revisions and STO IDs.
• Support Turnaround Planners in developing execution work packs and identify risks with recommendations.
• Work with Turnaround Scheduler on schedules and support CPM.
• Coordinate with Logistics for tools, certifications, and mobilization.
• Act as SME for continuous improvement and lessons learned.

Summary

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Operation Projects Coordinator (Mechanical). Location: Venture Global Calcasieu Pass Liquefied Natural Gas (CLNG) facility in Cameron, Louisiana. The Operations Projects Coordinator, Mechanical reports to the Shutdown Turnaround Outage (STO) Director and is responsible for managing the STO Mechanical work at Venture Global Plaquemines Liquefied Natural Gas (PLNG) facility. The Operations Projects Coordinator, Mechanical position primarily coordinates and directs the safe execution of the Turnaround Mechanical works and will be required to interface and work in collaboration with Turnaround Contractors, Operations, Maintenance (Planning and Execution), Engineering, Procurement, Warranty, Project Departments among others.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages and Coordinates Mechanical Turnaround work execution according to Venture Global HSSE process and procedures, to prevent or mitigate exposures to unsafe work conditions or SIMOPS.
• Manages and Coordinates Mechanical Turnaround work execution according to VGIMS (Venture Global Integrity Management System), VGLNG Work Management and STO Management process and procedures.
• Responsible in meeting VG STO Gate process deliverables under his area of responsibility.
• Assures compliance with and communication of all conditions inherent to Management of Change within the operating facility.
• Assists with coordination of daily schedule change and progress meetings, specifically assuring availability of essential stakeholders
• Facilitates the Turnaround scope of work workshops under his area of responsibility, ensures works are captured in SAP, STO Revisions and STO IDs.
• Serves as SME and supports Turnaround Planners for the development of execution work packs under his area of responsibility. Support the identification of risks on time, cost, scope, and provides recommendations for corrective and improvement actions.
• Work with Turnaround Scheduler for the development of schedules under his area of responsibility and supports Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Works with Turnaround Logistic Coordinator for logistics, tools, equipment certifications/mobilization as required.
• Strict adherence to VGLNG Business controls, approved contracts/suppliers.
• Participates in Turnaround contractor selection process, once the Contractor is onboard facilitated contractor’s work scope reviews and schedules and once in Execution controls Contractor timesheets.
• Serves as “conflict resolution” interface between Contractors, Third parties and VG.
• Monitors Pre-Execution and Post turnaround work progress against established schedule baselines. Updates, coordinates and communicate progress and schedule risk changes to all active parties and including third party contractors or vendors as required.
• Act as SME for continuous improvement/Lesson learned.

Qualifications

Required experience

Preferred Experience

• Project Management PMP training or certification
• Familiar with Primavera Project Management P6, MS Project experience
• Experience in commissioning, startup, and maintenance of Oil & Gas or petrochemical facilities

Preferred Education

• Technical degree, Trade or PMP certification – or similar

Licensing & Certifications

• Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing
