A leading aerospace company located in Titchfield is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement across multiple sites in the UK. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in supply chain management and aerospace industries. Currently located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. Our site is relocating to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus, which will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe.
We pride ourselves as a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, with extensive fuel and air system test facilities to enable testing across a range of conditions and fuels.
This role will lead our site procurement spend across 3 sites in the UK with a team of direct and functional personnel to execute a one supply chain approach. You will use your knowledge of tactical procurement systems and processes, supplier management, materials management, and continuous improvement tools to lead a group of site-based Supplier Performance Managers, improving supplier delivery and quality. You will be responsible for driving a culture of teamwork and performance that will improve our critical supply base. You will coach, mentor, and lead the team of Supplier Performance Managers to successfully execute supplier delivery improvement through effective guidance of the FMC Ops Procurement Team, efficient resource allocation for projects, and reliable reporting to leadership, while assisting to align actions. You will also develop individual team member leadership competencies and drive functional excellence in the management and delivery of high-risk supplier components, leading supplier continuous improvement activities to improve supplier delivery and capability, and supporting supplier risk management activities such as tactical systemic improvements at chronic supplier sites.
