Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is seeking an Operations Planner (Maternity Cover) in Bodelwyddan, Rhyl. You will coordinate day-to-day planning, scheduling and workload management across wastewater field teams, ensuring timely delivery and SLA compliance.

Working closely with the Planning Team Leader, you’ll balance urgent requests, optimise vehicle use and liaise with managers, customers and field staff to maintain service quality and efficiency.

Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.
United Utilities operates across a number of contracts across our business, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan. The Team support reactive and planned maintenance across the CCTV & Jetting and Civils teams, further supported by our in house Traffic Management Division and Capital Projects covering the entire UU network.

Operations Planner (Maternity Cover)

About the role

• Location: Bodelwyddan, Rhyl
• Hours: 40 hours a week, 4 on 4 off

Purpose of the role

Working closely with the Planning Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective planning, scheduling and coordination of work across our operational teams. The role involves managing daily workloads, responding to urgent and reactive service demands, and liaising closely with managers, customers and field teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
