Honeycomb is delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a leading Public Sector organisation, to recruit 2 Temporary Operations Officers (Leisure Centre) on an ongoing temporary contract. As Operations Officer, you will be supporting the Management team in the effective day to day operations of the Leisure Centres. Location - Portaferry. Excellent Hourly Rate.

The Role

As Operations Officer, you will be based in Portaferry, but supporting with the day to day management of a number of leisure centres within the Ards and North Down area. Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with the overall management of the facilities day to day
  • Booking Management
  • Supporting with issues relating to the day to day management of staff, including rota management etc
  • Supporting on reception and dealing with customer enquiries
  • Supporting with budget management
The Person

The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in a leisure or associated field. As this is a customer facing role, you will also demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

The Package

The role offers an excellent hourly rate of £18.82ph + Holidays + additional benefits (EAP after 12 weeks). Hours of work Monday - Saturday 3.15pm - 10.15pm or 8.15am -3.15pm Saturday onwards (with a 4 day working week).
