The Scottish Prison Service is seeking an Operations Officer who will be central to delivering our vision of building a safer Scotland by unlocking potential and transforming lives. You will maintain custody and order while supporting offenders to engage with education and family contact.

You will contribute to preventing challenging behaviour and provide safe custodial services. You will work across Front of House, Visits, Electronic Control Room, Patrol and Prisoner Reception, with shifts

Responsabilités

• Maintain custody and order.
• Influence and encourage offenders to maintain contact with families, access education and training, and become contributory citizens within communities.
• Contribute to prevention and management of challenging behaviour; provide safe and secure custodial services.
• Ensure overall functioning and security of the establishment, working as part of a team across Front of House, Visits, Electronic Control Room, Patrol and Prisoner Reception.
• Work shifts as per roster, including early, day, back and night shifts.
