Overview

The primary purpose of this role, reporting to the Operations Manager, is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of operations services to the Schools/Institutes within the Faculty. This involves providing expert guidance and oversight for financial and HR processes, directly managing more complex queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. A key aspect of the role is the leadership and management of a team of Operations Administrators who are responsible for the day‑to‑day administrative tasks across both finance and HR functions, thereby enabling a smooth and well‑supported operational environment within the Faculty and Schools/Institutes. The post holder will liaise with central Finance and HR teams to ensure correct adherence to operations processes and the appropriate escalation of complex issues.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will be an experienced and motivated operations professional, educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, who thrives in a complex organisational environment. You bring substantial administrative expertise and a proven ability to lead and support teams delivering high‑quality financial and HR services. Your strong working knowledge of systems such as Agresso and Oleeo enables you to guide colleagues, resolve complex queries, and ensure compliant, efficient processes.
