UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre is on the lookout for a qualified and proactive Operations Manager to take charge of our venue operations and providing strong leadership to ensure that UNSWFAC is a safe and well-maintained facility for all members and visitors.

Clublinks is appointed by UNSW Sydney to lead the health, fitness, aquatic, leisure and wellness initiatives across their Sports and Leisure facilities, located in Kensington.

Reporting to the UNSW Venue Manager, this hands on role will be responsible for maintaining operational safety and statutory compliance when on shift.

You will see the daily operations and strategic initiatives at UNSWFAC, providing leadership to the Lifeguard, Duty Manager, and Pool Operations teams. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all patrons while maintaining compliance, safety, and facility upkeep.

Lead Lifeguard & Duty Manager Team

Support Aquatic Programming

About you

You will have:

Significant, relevant, and demonstrated aquatics experience operating pools within large scale aquatic facilities

Proven ability to meet and maintain operation compliance and statutory compliance

Extensive pool plant operations experience

Energetic and vibrant approach

Proven leadership skills

Current Pool Operator and Pool Lifeguard Certificates.

Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check and First Aid qualifications
