Job Title: City Manager, India Ultra Fast Fresh Network

Amazon Operations - Amazon Worldwide Operations is the backbone of our fulfillment and customer service engine, ensuring a consistent, world-class customer experience globally. We seek high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join our India Operations team.

As the City Manager for the India Ultra Fast Fresh network, you will be responsible for direct people management, driving operational performance in a highly metric-driven environment. Your role will include leading process improvement projects across the site and network, working closely with multiple stakeholders, and enhancing key metrics such as Quality, Speed, and Cost. Developing your team members will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Flexibility to work weekends, overnight shifts, and travel within the city to launch, set up, and monitor operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop staffing plans, schedules, and lead quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Six Sigma projects to enable functional areas across all fulfillment centers (FCs) to meet and exceed business goals.
  2. Set clear requirements and expectations for FC site leaders.
  3. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold FC site managers accountable for their performance and that of their teams.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
