The opportunity

The Operations Manager, Specialty Solutions sits within our Two Labs team. The Operations Manager supports the client in the specialty channel partner selection process, provides patient journey recommendations and understands the standard levels of services (core and enhanced) offered by specialty pharmacies, specialty distributors, data aggregators and other alternative vendors. Knowledge in other key areas such as GPOs, 340B, Cell & Gene therapies, etc. and how they relate to the specialty channel is highly valued. This role supports the client with vendor management following the launch of their product(s) to provide oversight of specialty vendor management- data and analytics, KPIs, business reviews, contracts, etc.

The Operations Manager, Specialty Solutions, guides our clients through the evaluation, selection, implementation and post-launch lifecycle with success.

Role responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains strong client relationships; serves as internal SME for Specialty Trade partners
  • Demonstrates solid project management skills and tools
  • Proactively researches and resolves client/internal issues, escalating as needed
  • Coordinates with internal SMEs and stakeholders
  • Defines client specialty channel requirements and recommends core/enhanced services
  • Leads partner selection: creates RFI/RFPs, performs analysis and financial forecasts, secures CDAs
  • Designs specialty pharmacy programs and patient journeys with clients
  • Reviews and creates business rules and contract templates as needed
  • Leads data mapping and reviews data elements with partners and aggregators
  • Coordinates and hosts strategic planning meetings and site visits
  • Manages project plans, timelines, deliverables, and change control for channel partner scope
  • Coordinates implementation with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Participates in partner meetings, summits, and ongoing client engagement
  • Supports clients with data management, KPI monitoring, dashboards, and materials for business reviews
  • Identifies and resolves partner issues; escalates risks and recommends best practices
  • Delivers actionable analytics and insights in collaboration with internal teams
  • Maintains records in client relationship management software (Salesforce), and shared file management in content management system (SharePoint).
  • Performs other duties and projects as necessary

Skills & expertise

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience demonstrating capacity to perform the required work
  • Minimum 5 years of distribution, implementation or industry related experience
  • Previous launch experience in multiple disease state areas is a plus
  • Knowledge and training in the oversight of specialty pharmacy programs
  • Must possess ability to manage several projects concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
