Operations Manager - Soft Services - Healthcare

Location: Bristol

Salary: 50k to 60k + bonus

Join one of the UK's leading support services providers, committed to excellence in healthcare facilities management. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of Soft Facilities Management (FM) services within a prestigious healthcare contract in Kent.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in Soft FM operations, looking to lead a team in a healthcare environment and ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing a team delivering Soft FM services, including cleaning, catering, portering, waste, switchboard, and retail operations. Your focus will be on operational efficiency, service excellence, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital's non-clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and professional growth.

Operational Excellence: Oversee the delivery of soft services, ensuring consistent quality, compliance with SLAs and KPIs, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with NHS Trust stakeholders, internal departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Training & Development: Provide ongoing mentoring and support to team members, identifying development needs and supporting career progression.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all soft service areas.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in managing Soft FM services, ideally within a healthcare setting.

Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on team development and high-performance culture.

A customer-focused approach, ensuring services exceed expectations.

Good understanding of contract management and service delivery within regulated environments.
