The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Mobile Services Security Operations Manager to oversee our East Anglia portfolio and ensure exceptional service delivery for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for operational account management, client engagement, fleet management, and team performance.

Your team will operate mobile security as well as key holding. You will report to the Head of Business Services and ensure smooth patrol and response operations.

The role is based at our Head Office in Granta Park, Cambridge, with frequent travel across Peterborough, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Cambridge, and Ipswich.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Full operational account management for key clients, ensuring service excellence and outstanding client experience
  • Oversee staff performance, recruitment, welfare, training, and resourcing
  • Overall responsibility for fleet management
  • Manage key accounts, including cost management and meeting client KPIs
  • Foster and retain client relationships through regular performance meetings
  • Manage P&L and ensure all mobile services contracts meet client needs
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives to develop a high-performing team
  • Participate in on-call duties, including out-of-hours contact
  • Support clients with day-to-day security issues
  • Induct and train new staff; conduct refresher training for existing staff
  • Maintain up-to-date personal training (SIA, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including checks and tests
  • Produce detailed reports for each managed site

Full in-house training will be provided.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Valid SIA Licence or SIA Trained
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Proven operational management experience, preferably in mobile services or security
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and high integrity
  • Commitment to ethical people management
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on performance and client satisfaction
  • Passionate about delivering excellent client experiences with an intuitive mindset
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Presentable in line with corporate standards
  • Hands-on approach to patrol and response security
  • Resilient, proactive, and organised with excellent customer service skills
