About the role
The Housing Options Service is looking to recruit an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the development, procurement, and management of the temporary accommodation portfolio in accordance with best practice. You will also be responsible for ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of accommodation for the prevention and relief of homelessness in accordance with statutory requirements and powers, and that there are clear and robust measures in place to manage the allocation of accommodation.
You will develop and manage partnership working to maximise opportunities for service delivery and deliver continuous improvements in services to customers and partners alike.
You will provide new ideas on how to improve the service on a strategic level.
You need to be a confident, experienced, and adaptable self-starter, able to work proactively and on your own initiative. You will have the experience and ability to develop and deliver a range of housing management services.
