Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join our Depot management team.

This role is vital in overseeing the smooth operation of our depot, ensuring excellent service to customers, and achieving objectives related to Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.

Key responsibilities include:

• Recruitment, development, and retention of staff, ensuring compliance and effective Employee Relations.
• Managing P&L through planning and reporting.
• Enhancing operational support with innovative working methods.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution industries.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced operation and motivate high-performing teams.
• Experience in performance monitoring, data analysis, and implementing improvements.
• Excellent communication skills with strategic influence.

• Availability to work any 5 shifts, including weekends, as depots operate 365 days a year.
• Full UK driving license is required.
