Job summary

The Digital Operations Manager is a key role in the One Devon People Digital team, responsible for delivering the Workforce System and supporting wider HR digital services. You will own and oversee the successful management and enhancement of HR systems.

Role overview:

  • Lead the service team using agile and Scrum practices, setting processes, outcomes, and prioritising work to a minimum viable product (MVP).
  • Manage and prioritise a backlog contributing to the product roadmap.
  • Plan and organise complex product/system activities, formulate and adjust strategies, and lead annual business continuity exercises involving suppliers and users.
  • Work with the Assistant Director to develop strategic plans on HR technology impacting the entire partnership, and prepare plans for workforce systems.
  • Manage suppliers ensuring standards for accessibility, security, and data governance are met, and acceptance criteria are fulfilled.
  • Guide and coach the service team across digital areas including service design, collaborating closely with stakeholder engagement, enterprise architecture, programme management, and business intelligence teams.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
