Job description

Operations Manager (Night Shift)
£70,000 - £75,000
West Midlands

Excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager to lead the night shift for a well-established food manufacturing business!

As the Operations Manager, you will be the senior person on the night shift, responsible for the site, as well as the production, engineering, and hygiene departments.

Your role will involve leading all factory operations and overseeing the overall manufacturing strategy to ensure that all KPIs are met.

This position emphasizes both people and processes. You will be responsible for implementing strategic processes that drive success. The business requires an influential leader who can inspire the team, provide a clear vision, and foster a high-performing culture that ensures collaboration between production, engineering, and hygiene.

You will play a crucial role in promoting operational excellence across the site and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

The role will also entail ensuring that engineering planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and scheduling are effectively managed, so first-hand experience in leading engineering functions would be advantageous.

This role would suit a site manager, operations manager, or even an engineering manager who possesses strong leadership qualities and gravitas.

To succeed in this position, you must be a pragmatic and influential leader and have proven site leadership experience across large, complex food manufacturing sites.

Please note the shift pattern for this shift is 4on4off nights 6-6.

If you feel you have the right skills and attributes, then please apply!
