About The Role

AMK Fresh is looking for a strong, hands-on Night Shift Operations Manager to lead our night operations at our Peterborough site. You’ll take full responsibility for the shift—driving performance, managing Shift Managers, and ensuring smooth coordination of department collaboration.

Working mainly on Monday to Thursday nights, you will oversee all Operations including Production, Warehouse and Hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support team leads across all night shift departments

• Drive productivity, reduce downtime, and improve service levels

• Manage intake and production flow in line with forecasts and planning

• Resolve issues swiftly and report clearly on shift performance

• Motivate teams, improve morale, and ensure clear communication

About You

Essential

• Leadership experience in FMCG production/warehouse management
• Strong performance management in KPI-driven environments
• Skilled in labour cost control and P&L management
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Effective planning, organisation, and stock flow management
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in ERP systems and spreadsheets
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of warehouse legal and compliance requirements

Desirable:

• Customer service experience
• Start-up or new operation experience
• Experience leading FMCG night shift teams
