Job Description:

Established engineering firm specializing in the design, manufacture, protection, and site installation of process plant equipment is seeking an Operations Manager Manufacturing and Engineering Services to join their team in Worcestershire. This permanent role offers a salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per annum, along with benefits including a car allowance and bonus. The position is based in Worcestershire, with responsibilities spanning various operational facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Main point of contact for all operational aspects of the business.
2. Assessing and maintaining standards of business operations.
3. Involvement in day-to-day operational matters from workshop to back office.
4. Working closely with senior management and being highly visible within the organization.
5. Implementing operational setups and procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in operational management within engineering or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of process improvements, operational procedures, and quality control.
• Background in engineering fabrication, fitting, or servicing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to identify process bottlenecks and add value.
• Mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge.
