Pret A Manger is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop store teams across our London operations. You will ensure high standards of service, food quality and safety while driving revenue and profitability through effective people management and shift planning.

The role involves coaching managers, optimising rosters, and upholding Pret’s values in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position based in London with 42 hours per week.

Drive Succession: support recruitment and successful onboarding within your area, build robust family trees in your area, drive team happiness by role modelling Pret’s values and behaviours, embrace the Thoughtful Leadership principles (be kind, be honest and be generous), ensure you have the right people in the right place and support your team’s wellbeing by promoting and nurturing a healthy work life balance.

Drive your business: coach and support managers to ensure their teams consistently deliver amazing customer service, ensure your teams consistently deliver delicious food and drink by putting the customer’s needs first and never compromising on quality or safety standards, drive sales and profit through forecasting, rota management, ordering and production, continuously analysing and reviewing your Area’s results proactively reacting to any challenges or obstacles and to have full P&L accountability.

Drive and embed change: you will be the ambassador for change, effectively communicating with your team, actively follow up with the team on any new standard or initiative to ensure successful implementation, listen and give constructive feedback and ensure your team is well informed of any business changes or initiatives.

The Operations Manager role report into the Head of Operations.

The Pret interview journey

Then, if we move forward with your application, we’ll start the process with a 30-minute chat, so we can better understand your experience and skills. The next stage is to pop into our Head Office, where you’ll have a one-hour interview with the hiring team.
