Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an Operations Manager based in Liverpool with UK-wide travel. You will oversee northern depots, manage inventory and external orders, and ensure on-time delivery while controlling costs.

The role requires leadership across multiple teams and a focus on continuous improvement. With 20+ offices across the UK and Europe, the role offers a strong emphasis on stock management, operational efficiency and safety compliance.

• Ensure customer delivery requirements are met on time and within quality and cost expectations.
• Work closely with the Head of Production to maintain adequate stock levels and minimise out-of-stock situations.
• Drive key performance indicators throughout the operation.
• Monitor departmental capacity requirements and allocate staff accordingly.
• Liaise with other departments to promote continuous improvement.
• Attend daily facility meetings and other meetings as required.
• Provide leadership to departments under their control and develop direct reports to achieve targets.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and manage attendance, holidays and disciplinary matters as appropriate.
• Work within company guidelines at all times.
• Ensure environmental, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Operations Manager | Liverpool (UK-Wide Travel Required) | Full Time | £45,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with additional hours potentially required at the COO's discretion

The Role

The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the northern depots, monitoring inventory levels and external customer orders to ensure delivery schedules are met. Based in Liverpool, the role requires travel across the UK.

The role involves managing day-to-day relationships with northern depots, external customers, Company Installations and Sales teams, while controlling costs, rationalising inventory and improving factory stockholding methods and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile weekly and monthly data as required
• Provide leadership to departments under their control and develop direct reports to achieve agreed targets
• Conduct regular performance reviews and manage attendance, holidays and disciplinary matters as appropriate
• Work within company guidelines at all times
• Ensure environmental, health and safety procedures are followed at all times
