Job Description

Operations Manager

Seeking an Operations Manager to join our fast-growing homeware lifestyle brand, Casa by Josephine Jenno.

You’ll work directly with the founder to help us scale in our early years. This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and strategic to ensure projects and teams are set up for success.

Key Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Guide the team by setting priorities and developing strategies to identify low-margin and low-growth products.
  • Carry out detailed analyses of projects and report on issues and findings from both a commercial and financial perspective.
  • Own the relationship with our 3PL.
  • Optimize operational processes and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Build out financial forecasts and work alongside the junior buyer to ensure stock is bought to optimize holding and cash flow.
  • Partner closely with the team to minimize our carbon footprint.
  • Work with our digital agency to provide feedback, insights, and learnings.
  • Assist with recruiting when necessary.
  • Ensure the company remains legally compliant.
Experience We Are Looking For
  • 8 years of management experience, preferably in a DTC business or similar relevant experience.
  • Commercially astute with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical with a logical thought process; data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Mintsoft, and other tech and systems integration.
  • Experience in wholesale expansion.
  • Ability to navigate post-Brexit regulations and USA tariff changes.
  • Forecasting stock and logistics management experience.
  • Experience setting up USA 3PL.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in funding.
  • Experience in startups.
Remuneration

Annual contract of £50,000 - £55,000.

Location & Work Arrangement

Office located in Chelsea, working in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Hybrid WFH on Mondays and Fridays.
