We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join and strengthen our highly experienced Depot management team.

In this role, you will oversee the smooth running of our operation, helping your Depot achieve outstanding service to customers and meet objectives around Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment, development, and retention of staff, ensuring compliance and Employee Relations processes are followed
  • Managing P&L through planning and reporting
  • Improving support to the Operation with innovative ways of working

Qualifications

What we’re looking for;

  • Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industries
  • Ability to run a fast-paced operation and motivate high-performing teams
  • Experience monitoring performance, analyzing data, and implementing improvements
  • Outstanding communication skills and strategic influence

  • Availability to cover any 5 shifts, including some weekends
  • A full UK driving license
