Job description

A well-established and growing Civil Engineering and Construction Contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their leadership team. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to shape operational delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects, including Groundworks, Civil Engineering, and Housing schemes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operational delivery across multiple live projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and project performance
  • Collaborate with commercial and pre-construction teams to support tendering and planning
  • Maintain strong client relationships and uphold the company's reputation for excellence

About You:

  • Proven experience in an operational leadership role within Civil Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering & Groundworks projects
  • Proficient with NEC contract knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of HSQE standards
  • You will have strong leadership and team management skills
  • Willingness to travel across North West Wales
