Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join our Depot management team.

This role is vital in overseeing the smooth operation of our depot, ensuring outstanding customer service, and achieving objectives related to Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.

The Operations Manager will also be responsible for:

• Recruiting, developing, and retaining staff while ensuring compliance and employee relations processes are followed.
• Managing P&L through effective planning and reporting.
• Enhancing operational support with innovative working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industries.
• The ability to manage a fast-paced operation and motivate high-performing teams.
• Experience in monitoring performance, analyzing data, and implementing improvements.
• Excellent communication skills with strategic influence.

• Availability to work any 5 shifts, including weekends, as depots operate 365 days a year.
• A full UK driving license.
