About The Role

As an Operations Manager Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in our fast-paced environment, covering operations, production, and business management, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and commercial awareness. Supported by mentors and bespoke management development, you’ll have the chance to accelerate your career and explore various areas of our business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on production efficiency and line performance.
• Support the achievement of key operational KPIs.
• Assist in primary carcass breakdown and yield analysis.
• Coordinate production planning with sales and assess costings for new and ongoing business.
• Ensure all customer requirements and quality standards are met.
• Accurately cost new products and support commercial decision-making.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong interest in food manufacturing, operations, or business management.
• Highly motivated, ambitious, and commercially minded.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of team dynamics and a professional, enthusiastic attitude.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is desirable.
• Right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Approximately 24 months of work with Dunbia and an external training provider to achieve a Level 5 qualification. This nationally recognized, work-based qualification develops essential leadership and management skills. It is fully funded, so there is no cost to you!
