Job Opportunity: Operations Manager at Micheldever Tyres Services

Micheldever Tyres Services is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Operations Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing operations within the Warehouse & Transport functions at your site, leading a team of Shift Managers. Your role includes implementing the company's Standard Operational Policies, Procedures, and Practices, including Health and Safety, and proactively driving the site forward with new initiatives. You will also foster a positive working environment and culture for team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans
• Driving efficiencies and improving service levels
• Monitoring operation budgets and KPI targets
• Controlling stock accuracy and maintaining records for audits
• Ensuring excellent customer service
• Motivating and encouraging team members to foster a positive environment
• Holding team briefings and supporting employee relations meetings
• Reviewing employee performance and wellbeing
• Identifying training needs and development opportunities

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics management
• Leadership skills with team management experience
• Experience in budget management and Health & Safety in a similar environment
• Change Management experience
• IOSH qualification is advantageous but not essential; a good understanding of warehouse Health and Safety is required
