Job description

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You will be responsible for the warehouse and service departments and will have the opportunity to participate in key decisions to drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation of the warehouse and service departments for both the Metabo and HiKOKI brands, influencing monthly sales targets.
  2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and the service team (three members), including performance monitoring and development support.
  3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, maintaining high safety standards.
  4. Oversee main contracts related to warehouse operations, including logistics, waste management, and recycling.
  5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
  6. Ensure inventory records are accurate and meet the periodic activity requirements of the finance IT system.
  7. Require a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  8. Be IT literate, proficient in WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  9. Possess excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
  10. Have strong commercial and business awareness.
  11. Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritization, and multitasking.
  12. Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player.
  13. Possess robust problem-solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications

Previous experience with Microsoft Navision is advantageous but not essential.
