Operations Manager at Truro School Prep

Full Time / Permanent / All Year Round

Salary: £38,364 to £43,970pa (dependent on skills and experience)

Start Date: October 2025

We’re looking for a proactive and committed Operations Manager to play a key role in our vibrant and thriving Prep School. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running Truro School Prep from a support services perspective. This includes overseeing catering, facilities, utilities and other support services that enable the school to function effectively for both pupils and staff.

  • Balance hands-on operational work with strategic planning to support the busy and dynamic school calendar.
  • Prepare for events, term transitions, seasonal activities and ensure operational aspects align with the needs of boarders and the school community.

The role requires a practical, calm under pressure, solutions-focused individual who can adapt to the varied and sometimes unpredictable demands of school life. Strong organisational skills and the ability to anticipate and respond to upcoming operational needs are essential.

Work pattern & Benefits

  • Permanent, full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, Mondays to Friday 7.30am – 4:00pm.
