An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to join a highly reputable, owner-operated contract catering company with a strong reputation in delivering innovative fresh food services.

Specialising predominantly in catering for the Education sector, we are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee 12 schools in the Shropshire area.

As Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Director to oversee key accounts across state education primaries and secondaries. Your focus will be on client retention, multi-site team development and driving service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and develop your teams across 12 education client locations in Shropshire
  • Drive continuous improvement and special projects across client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and fresh food delivery
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
  • Oversee financial performance within your sites, utilising your commercial acumen and understanding of multiple P&L's with tight margins

  • Experienced at Operations Manager level within state education contract catering
  • Client-focused, with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • A motivational leader with experience managing and developing multi-site operators and managers
  • A natural passion for fresh food and better still, a craft-based background
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to drive financial performance
  • Creative, with a keen eye for detail and a non-corporate approach to leadership
