• Full UK/EU driving licence and relevant industry qualifications (IOSH, CPC, COTC).

Overview

Shape the future of recycling in Somerset - join Biffa as an Operations Manager. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

• Manage daily HWRC operations safely and efficiently across multiple sites
• Lead, motivate, and support teams including supervisors, site managers, and operatives
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, environmental permits, and company policies
• Oversee plant maintenance, repairs, and performance standards
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, regulators, and the public
• Monitor performance against budgets, implementing improvements where needed
• Drive customer service excellence while maximising recycling performance
