Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You will be responsible for the warehouse and service departments, with opportunities to influence key decisions that drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation of the warehouse and service departments for both the Metabo and HiKOKI brands, contributing to achieving monthly sales targets.
2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and service team (three members), including monitoring performance and supporting development.
3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, maintaining high safety standards.
4. Oversee main contracts affecting warehouse operations, including logistics, waste management, and recycling.
5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
6. Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and compliance with periodic activity requirements of the finance IT system.
7. Require at least three years of experience in a similar role.
8. Be IT literate, proficient in WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
9. Possess excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
10. Demonstrate strong commercial and business awareness.
11. Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritization, and multitasking.
12. Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player.
13. Have robust problem-solving skills.

Desirable but Not Essential:

• Previous experience with Microsoft Navision.
