Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to join our depot management team and oversee a high-performing operation, delivering superb service, cost control and safety. You will lead staff, drive productivity and implement innovative ways of working to meet targets across the operation.

The role requires extensive logistics/warehouse experience, leadership capability, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehouse or distribution industries.
• Ability to run a fast-paced operation and motivate high performing teams.
• Experience monitoring performance and analysing data to identify improvements and implement change.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence strategy.

• Depots operate 365 days a year; required to cover 5 shifts including weekends.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join and strengthen our highly experienced Depot management team. In this role you will be a crucial member of the management team who oversees the smooth running of our operation, helping your Depot to achieve outstanding service to our customers but also achieve challenging objectives around Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity and Transport.
