Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Pickering site. You will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets and customer demand are met while maintaining safety, quality and efficiency.

You will lead the operations team and collaborate with support functions to optimise performance and deliver continuous operational excellence. The role focuses on leading production, improving SQDCP metrics and driving lean improvements across the manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience with injection moulding processes in a manufacturing setting.
• Background in automotive manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume customer-driven production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide manufacturing operations ensuring production plans and customer demand are achieved.
• Own SQDCP performance, driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People while monitoring KPIs, productivity, OEE, downtime, scrap and rework.
• Provide operational leadership, managing Production Managers, Supervisors and wider teams while building accountability, engagement, capability and succession.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, structured problem solving, waste reduction, standardisation and improvements to production flow and efficiency.
