The Oxford AI Safety Initiative (OAISI) is hiring our first employee to help us reach more exceptional early-career individuals and support them to have an impact in AI safety sooner.
If you’re excited by the opportunity to build a thriving AI safety ecosystem in Oxford and work on ensuring that the development of this century’s most important technology goes well, we’d like to hear from you.
As Operations Manager, you will work closely with OAISI’s leadership committee to help us expand OAISI’s reach and build on existing successes. Core tasks will include managing day-to-day operations and finances, coordinating our fellowship and event programmes, overseeing communications and outreach, and supporting community growth initiatives.
This is a dynamic role that will develop alongside OAISI’s growth. Your initial responsibilities will span the following areas, with significant opportunities to shape the position and expand your scope as we scale up:
