The Role

An established industrial components manufacturer supplying high-quality parts to the aerospace, automotive, and defence sectors is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their Nuneaton site. This is a pivotal role at an exciting time for the business, which is about to embark on significant capital expenditure projects that will greatly enhance manufacturing capabilities and capacity on site. As Operations Manager, you will lead a management team responsible for day-to-day production and operational excellence. You will oversee resource planning, process improvements, and quality assurance, ensuring the business meets demanding sector standards while driving efficiency and growth. Key Responsibilities

Your Background

• Proven experience in operations or production management within component manufacturing, ideally supplying aerospace, automotive, or defence sectors.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing a management team.
• Experience overseeing capital expenditure or manufacturing expansion projects.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage peak operations.
• Residing within commutable distance to Nuneaton or willing to relocate.
