Descripción del empleo

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of five country parks, three greenways and two nature reserves. You will support and develop our ranger teams, maintain high standards across a varied public-facing estate and ensure our sites are safe, welcoming and well managed. This is a visible and influential leadership role with the opportunity to improve services, shape how we work and make a direct difference to visitors, communities, wildlife and the wider environment. About the Team You will join a geographically dispersed service responsible for five country parks, three greenways and two nature reserves. Working through Senior Rangers, you will support and develop effective, resilient and customer-focused teams, including colleagues working shift patterns, and oversee three Specialist Rangers focused on key habitats. Our staff and volunteers work across busy, varied public spaces and share a commitment to making Warwickshire's green spaces safe, welcoming, accessible and well managed. The team works collaboratively with colleagues in ecology, forestry, property, finance, procurement, public health and communications to improve the visitor experience and increase the social, environmental and financial value of our sites.

About the Role

You will balance the day-to-day demands of busy public spaces with longer-term service improvement. That means strengthening operational practice, supporting staff and volunteers, managing risk, improving the visitor experience and working across teams to make the most of Warwickshire's green spaces.
