Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our contract catering services. You will work closely with the team to ensure that our service delivery is aligned with client needs and company objectives. Your leadership and expertise will be key in optimising operational efficiency, managing budgets, and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all aspects of catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service delivery.
  2. Assist in developing and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost-control measures to achieve financial targets.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
  4. Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing training, support, and performance management to enhance productivity and engagement.
  5. Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  6. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies, driving initiatives that enhance service delivery and profitability.
  7. Provide regular reports to the Accounts Director on operational performance, client feedback, and financial metrics.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
  2. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
