Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm

Job Role:

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and manage a local authority environmental services contract, within a demanding commercial environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Implement performance measurement processes using KPIs to drive operational improvements.
  2. Manage health & safety culture in compliance with policies and legislation.
  3. Conduct team meetings, monitor targets, and submit reports.
  4. Provide leadership to motivate staff and achieve objectives.
  5. Oversee daily service operations for optimal performance.
  6. Ensure staff training for safe and cost-effective service delivery.
  7. Manage the structure and operation of the responsible business areas.
Requirements:
  1. Experience as an Operations Manager or similar in managing multiple departments.
  2. Management Level 5 or equivalent experience.
  3. IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable).
  4. CPC Licence (desirable, but must be obtained within 18 months).
  5. COTC qualification (desirable, but must be obtained within 18 months).
  6. Experience managing direct and indirect reports.
