Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking an energetic Operations Manager to oversee NCM, NLN & NAN regions. You will manage day-to-day Grounds Maintenance and winter services, leading Contract Managers, Supervisors, and operatives to deliver exceptional service.

Reporting to Head of Operations, you will drive efficiency, budget adherence and performance, while embedding QHSE and people development across the team, with a focus on high customer service and flexible winter workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticultural/landscaping industry.
• Previous management experience required.
• Ability to undertake budget setting and demonstrate financial management.
• Understanding of operational IT systems.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and safe working practices.
• Ability to represent Mitie effectively in meetings.
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills for personal development.

Hours: 40 Hours - Monday to Friday (may have to be more flexible during the winter)

We are seeking an energetic and valued contributor to manage and develop our region! Mitie Landscapes has a new opportunity for an Operations Manager covering NCM, NLN & NAN regions to join our team at the UKs leading FM company. You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations in Grounds Maintenance and winter services and projects within your operating regions.

Agile, flexible working is critical to the continuing success of the Landscapes business, the ability to embed performance excellence through an operating model which supports operational seasonal peaks and out of hours customer support is critical.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead your teams of Contract Manager, Contract Supervisors, Ground Maintenance Operatives/Technicians and Litter Pickers, ensuring that they deliver the exceptional every day.

You will be responsible for.

• Working to ensure you maximise operational and financial performance to ensure budgets are achieved/exceeded.

• You must have experience in the within the horticultural/ Landscaping industry.
