Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team and involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You are individually responsible for the warehouse and service departments and will have a real opportunity to be involved with key decisions that will drive the organisation towards its growth targets.

1. Responsible for the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation (input, storage, and output) of the warehouse and service departments for both the Metabo and HiKOKI brands, significantly influencing monthly sales targets.
2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and service team (three members), including monitoring performance and supporting their development.
3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, ensuring the highest possible standards of health and safety.
4. Oversee main contracts affecting warehouse operations, including logistics (carriage in and out), waste management, and recycling.
5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
6. Ensure the accuracy of inventory records and compliance with periodic activity requirements of the finance IT system.
7. Require a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
8. Be IT literate, proficient in WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
9. Possess excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
10. Have strong commercial and business awareness.
11. Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritising, and multitasking.
12. Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player.
13. Demonstrate robust problem-solving skills.

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous experience with Microsoft Navision.
