Operations Manager

c£60,000 | Multi-site | DTC Brand

IMPACT EVOLVE have exclusively partnered with Leader Online, a high growth DTC brand. We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead day to day warehouse operations across multiple sites in the North East, including Middlesbrough & Hartlepool

This is a hands-on leadership role with serious scope. The business is scaling fast, and they need someone who brings structure, energy and strong values to the operation, someone who can lead with care, build trust on the floor, and drive performance across the board.

The team culture is built around teamwork, care, customer centricity and integrity. These aren’t buzzwords they show up in how decisions are made, how teams are supported, and how success is measured.

What the role covers:

  • Operational Control: Lead warehouse execution from goods in to despatch across multiple sites, ensuring the whole network runs like clockwork.

  • People Leadership: Manage Team Leaders and Warehouse Co-ordinators, build a strong team culture, and hold performance to a high bar with clarity and compassion.

  • 3PL Oversight: Own 3PL performance, contracts and service delivery.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accuracy, improve space efficiency, and deliver on SLAs.

  • Health & Safety: Zero tolerance for non-compliance. Own safety protocols, training and audits.

  • Continuous Improvement: Tackle cost, service and efficiency proactively. Bring ideas, data and drive.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain and commercial teams to raise standards and sharpen service.

  • KPI Ownership: Define, track and deliver against core operational metrics OTIF, pick accuracy, safety, cost-to-serve and more.

What’s needed:

  • Experience running warehouse operations across multi-site environments, ideally DTC, eCom or high-volume B2C

  • A solid background managing 3PLs and freight partners.

  • Clear, credible leadership – teams trust your judgement and know where they stand

  • Confident with data, reporting, and operational systems – PVX WMS experience is a bonus

  • Health & Safety focus – ideally NEBOSH

  • A process thinker with a sharp eye for improvement and cost control

  • Someone who listens first, acts decisively, and doesn’t lose sight of the people at the centre of the operation

The offer:
