Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to support our workforce's growth and creativity while collaborating with residents of East Sussex. The successful candidate will be creative in supporting value for money and providing residents with opportunities for choice and control to meet their needs. Our ethos emphasizes collaboration across internal sectors and with external partners to support strength-based work and future developments.

The role involves managing Practice Managers to maintain quality practice and drive developments using relevant data and stakeholder consultation. You will lead several ongoing projects, supported by the Head of Service, especially as Health and Social Care transition through government reforms. A strong history of working in mental health within statutory organizations is essential.

  • Change management expertise
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., social work, occupational therapy)
  • Management qualification or willingness to complete a Level 6 Chartered Manager apprenticeship (funded by the Council)
