YOUR ROLE

Our operation based in Wellesbourne have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Operations Manager join the team!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Senior General Manager you will take full ownership of the end-to-end running of our logistics operation, which provides essential services including inbound and outbound customer fulfilment, value-added services, and transport coordination through a trusted network of approved carriers.

You will implement strategies to form a management team that creates, sustains and embeds a culture of employee engagement as well as strong development and succession plans. You will provide management control through effective planning, organisation and communication to ensure all KPI targets are achieved.

You will proactively identify areas for operational improvement, drive lean initiatives, and implement best practices to optimise efficiency in collaboration with internal teams and ensure that all activities remain within quality and budgetary targets.

You will act as the central point of contact between the customer and the operation, ensuring all reports are completed accurately and on time. You will lead regular communication with customer to manage service performance, align on expectations, and respond to any special requests or requirements.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of leading teams and significant operational experience within warehouse operations ideally shared logistics of food industry with demonstrable experience of building and developing exceptional client relationships.

You will possess strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others and be a skilled decision maker who is able to interact and engage with colleagues at all levels.

You will bring strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You will need be self-motivated, adaptable, and confident working with a wide range of individuals.
