What will you be doing?


  • Lead and manage site operations, coordinating with planners, engineers, and team members to optimise resource allocation and ensure efficient project delivery
  • Provide strong leadership and development for all direct reports, maintaining high performance standards and implementing disciplinary procedures when necessary
  • Drive operational excellence through KPI monitoring, quality management, and regular performance reviews
  • Oversee recruitment and succession planning to maintain optimal workforce levels and skill sets
  • Ensure comprehensive health and safety compliance, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and safe working practices
  • Manage equipment maintenance, PPE provision, and resource utilisation to maximise operational efficiency
  • Foster effective communication between operational teams and management while handling workforce grievances
  • Maintain regulatory compliance through proper documentation, audits, and adherence to company policies
  • Collaborate with regional teams and external stakeholders to develop and deliver contract requirements
  • Liaise with other Operations Managers on a regular basis to assist with overall utilisation rates for all plant and labour
