Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Operations Manager with 5+ years' experience to join a well-established telecommunications company.

This is a maternity cover position with the potential to become permanent, offering a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 and benefits.

As a Commercial Operations Manager, you will take a central role in overseeing daily operations, supporting project execution, and fostering collaboration across teams. You will be a key contributor within a growing team dedicated to delivering exceptional services to international clients.

This role does not provide sponsorship.

You will be responsible for:

1. Coordinating international supplier shipments, ensuring all deliveries are on schedule and correctly documented.
2. Supporting procurement activities, including supplier approvals and assisting with contract arrangements.
3. Managing supplier communications and contributing to the smooth delivery of internal projects.
4. Acting as a key point of contact for customer and supplier queries relating to shipments, invoicing, and general operations.
5. Organising the distribution of promotional materials and providing support for marketing events.
6. Assisting the finance team with processing purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, and overseeing invoicing tasks.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as an Operations Manager, Operations Lead, Supply Chain Manager, or in a similar role.
2. Possess 5+ years experience in commercial operations, project support, or supply chain coordination.
3. Background in overseeing global logistics and working closely with sales, finance, and logistics teams.
4. Excellent project coordination and supplier management skills.
5. Right to work in the UK.
