Stannah has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Network Rail Department, ideally based out of our Dartford Branch.

The Operations Manager for the Network Rail Department (NRD) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the NRD department, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and achieving operational targets. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a focus on optimizing operational processes.

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the KAMs, Technical, and Engineering Teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective workflows while maintaining high customer satisfaction and meeting operational goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader with strong management skills, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to Health & Safety.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45, and Friday: 08:00 - 15:45.

To succeed as the Operations Manager, you should have previous experience leading a service team within the lift industry. Experience in operations management, budget control, and process improvement is desirable.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily operations of Branch Field Management and Engineer Teams
  2. Ensure efficiency, service quality, and compliance with Health & Safety policies
  3. Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve operational goals
  4. Manage budgets, support financial targets, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  5. Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  6. Maintain strong stakeholder communication and proactively manage customer expectations

Requirements include strong leadership, team management, decision-making skills, proven management experience in the lift industry, hands-on expertise in Health & Safety, budgeting, and process management, a valid UK driving license, willingness to travel, and a minimum NVQ level 3 Management qualification or equivalent.
