Job Description:

As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You will be responsible for the warehouse and service departments and will have the opportunity to influence key decisions that drive organizational growth.

  • Oversee the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation of the warehouse and service departments for both brands, impacting monthly sales targets.
  • Manage the warehouse team (five members) and service team (three members), including performance monitoring and development support.
  • Act as the Health & Safety Officer, ensuring high standards of health and safety.
  • Handle main contracts related to logistics, waste management, and recycling.
  • Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
  • Ensure inventory records are accurate and meet financial system requirements.
  • Require at least three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Be proficient with WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
  • Have strong commercial and business awareness.
  • Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritization, and multitasking.
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player.
  • Demonstrate robust problem-solving skills.
Desirable but not essential:
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Navision.
