Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and optimise day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows across the business.
  • Develop and implement operational processes, policies, and procedures to support growth, enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Oversee vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with project leads to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Analyse operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, support, and motivate team members to promote a strong, high-performance, collaborative operational culture.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within operational processes.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent and compliant.
Your Profile

Organised, proactive, and practical you enjoy making things run smoothly. Strategic and systems-minded, with the ability to translate big-picture goals into operational solutions. Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Collaborative and confident working across functions and with senior leadership. Hands-on and solution-focused, with a flexible, can-do attitude. Passionate about creating structure, clarity, and consistency as part of a growing business.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a small or growing business environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing new systems or processes.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working in project-based or consultancy-style businesses.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., ERP, CRM, or inventory management systems).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of project or process management methodologies (e.g. Lean, Agile, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
