Job description

Job Title: Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will be a member of the Senior Management Team involved in the running of KOKI Group UK Ltd, the UK distributor of Metabo and HiKOKI power tools. You will be responsible for the warehouse and service departments, with opportunities to influence key decisions driving the organization's growth targets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the effective, efficient, safe, and clean operation (input, storage, and output) of the warehouse and service departments for both the Metabo and HiKOKI brands, directly impacting monthly sales targets.
  2. Manage the warehouse team (five members) and the service team (three members), including performance monitoring and development support.
  3. Serve as the Health & Safety Officer for both companies, maintaining high safety standards.
  4. Oversee contracts related to warehouse operations, including logistics, waste management, and recycling.
  5. Manage relationships with third-party inventory storage providers.
  6. Ensure inventory records' accuracy and compliance with periodic activity requirements of the finance IT system.
  7. Require at least three years of experience in a similar role.
  8. Be IT literate, with proficiency in WMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  9. Possess excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and outsourced resources.
  10. Have strong commercial and business awareness.
  11. Be self-motivated, capable of decision-making, prioritization, and multitasking.
  12. Be adaptable, proactive, and a team player.
  13. Demonstrate robust problem-solving skills.
Desirable but not essential:
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Navision.
