Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Deliver strong operational and financial performance whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
  2. Manage people and assets to deliver or exceed service expectations.
  3. Manage operations against Veolia minimum requirements.
  4. Oversee Waste Transfer Station operations where applicable.
  5. Serve as Nominated Transport Manager with overall responsibility for fleet management and compliance.
  6. Utilise data to improve operational performance.
  7. Manage day-to-day operations of operatives, staff, and site-based support to maximize site capability and capacity.
  8. Promote a first-time collection culture.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Transport CPC certification.
  • Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification - desirable.
  • Previous experience managing a large team.
  • Previous fleet management experience.
  • Ability to utilise data and financial management skills.
